Admission Process

Admission Process

Thank you for your interest in the Day School! We are excited to share our wonderful program and community with you. We believe the enrollment process should be low-pressure and family-focused, and our goal is to provide as much support as possible during this important decision-making time. Our enrollment period for the upcoming school year takes place in January, and the enrollment confirmation deadline for our Pre-K and TK programs is in mid-March, aligning with the local private schools’ acceptance and decision period. We offer two Preview Days each fall and individual tours throughout the year.

2025-2026 School Year: August 26, 2025 – May 19, 2026

Preview Day Handout

The following steps will begin the admission process for enrolling at the Day School.

Step 1 | Inquire

Please take some time to review our website for basic information about the various programs we offer. You may also find more information on our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Once you’ve reviewed the website, please fill out the following form with your information:

Step 2 | Tour

We offer individual tours and Preview Days in the fall for prospective families. Individual tours are available throughout the week and allow families to see the school in action. Tours may also be scheduled after 2 p.m. or on Fridays when classes are not in session. Once we receive your Inquiry Request form, a Day School advisor will contact you to schedule an individual tour and invite you to a Preview Day.

Step 3 | Apply

  • After you have toured or talked to an advisor, you will receive an email with a link for the online Day School Application. There is not a fee associated with applying.
  • Please note the following enrollment dates:
    • Application Acceptance Period: Year Round
    • Enrollment Dates for the 2025-2026 School Year:
      • January 3, 2026 – ROUND 1 Applications: Due for Priority Enrollment (beginning January 7th) and Open Enrollment (beginning January 9th)
      • January 4, 2026 (and after) – ROUND 2 Applications: All Round 2 applications will be considered for Open Enrollment after the Round 1 applications have been processed.
      • January 6, 2026 – Returning Student Contracts Due
      • January 7, 2026 – Priority Enrollment for Siblings and PCBC Members
      • January 9-15, 2026 – ROUND 1 Open Enrollment: Applications Due by January 2
      • January 16, 2026 (possibly sooner) – ROUND 2 Open Enrollment: Applications submitted January 4 and after
      • March 16, 2026 – Pre-K/TK Enrollment Decision Deadline (Current families must submit their final enrollment decision by this day, or sooner. Spots not confirmed by this day will be released to new applicants.)
  • Enrollment is available throughout the school year as space permits. When a class is full, applicants will be placed in the unranked waiting pool and considered for enrollment when a spot becomes available. Priority will be given in the following order: current students, teacher’s children, siblings of current students, PCBC church members, and community members. Class composition will also be considered.
  • Infants must be at least 4 months old by August 25, 2026. If you plan to enroll a newborn but wish for your child to start after the first day of school, you must register and pay all regularly scheduled tuition payments due from the enrollment date to hold your child’s spot. If you choose to be placed in the unranked waiting pool instead and do not pay tuition to hold the spot, your child will only be enrolled when an opening becomes available.
  • Children enrolling in Preschool: Three’s and older classes must be fully potty trained.
  • Once you submit your Day School Application, you will either wait for the regular enrollment period or, depending on space availability during the school year, be contacted if a spot becomes available.
  • Applicants will have 48 hours to confirm enrollment by responding to the director, signing the PCBC Day School Contract, and paying the Registration Fee and first month’s tuition payment. Both are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • At the end of summer, families will receive a “Welcome to School” packet containing information about their child’s classroom and teacher, details about starting the new school year, and the Meet the Teacher event held the week before school starts.
  • Submission of the Preschool Application does not guarantee enrollment.
  • Non-Discriminatory Statement: PCBC Day School admits students without regard to race, color, national origin, or ethnic origin. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, or scholarship programs.
